A Lump on a Stump

This young robin sat for some time on the stump in the front yard just regarding his world or was he listening for any worm activity under the grass?  Or maybe he was practicing doing nothing which reminded me of a Winnie-the-Pooh quote, “Don’t underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can’t hear, and not bothering.”  Sounds about right to me.
