A Wee May Basket

This is the first time in, well, forever that I received a May Basket.  This wee one showed up by my door late in the day. Anonymous, of course, but I have an idea who might have made it.  It contains tiny wildflowers and it is completely enchanting.  I remember making May Baskets of crepe paper back in the 1950's.  You could also buy them at the Woolworth's store in town.  Pansies were the flower of choice for us then.  The tradition has long died out but this wee flash from the past brightened my day.
