Bardon Mill to Haltwhistle

This was one of the largest groups of walkers in this year's festival. We set off with 27 walkers plus 3 team members (plus Humshaugh bear).
Not long after the start, one walker decided to go home because the pace was too fast for her.

It was a grey day and there was drizzle over the middle of it. Then the rain stopped and we enjoyed walking on green paths with spectacular views to the north and the south.

Can you see Humshaugh bear with the group? It was his first day out with the festival because he had Covid and had to wait for two days of negative tests before joining us. Nothing to do with me forgetting to find him in the back of the cupboard!

So the Festival is over. It has been such fun and the walks have been interesting and diverse. Roll on next year.
