Tulip Sylvestris

This is the wild tulip which I planted last autumn and is looking wonderful just now - and, hopefully, will now do so for years to come.
The drama of the day was finding a badly injured deer on the Cooriedog walk amongst the Xmas tree plantation.  Phoned the SSPCA who came quite quickly, judged the poor animal was too badly injured, ended its suffering and took the animal away.  Very sad.
