Great Egret

I saw my first Great Egret (Ardea Alba) of the year while he was wading through the water slowly stalking fish along the shoreline. I observed the bird for awhile, but it did not catch anything during the time I was watching. This bird is preparing for breeding season because the skin patch on its face has changed to a vivid green color.
