Backlit Robin

Amazing to think it is already the end of April .... where has the time gone?!

We had a lovely walk this afternoon ..... it was quite warm with only a light breeze .... just right!

We saw & heard lots of birds ..... Great Tit, Blue Tit, Dunnock, Whitethroat, Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Buzzard & Kestrel ..... also this Robin who was singing beautifully .... loved the effect of the backlighting :-)

We also saw Small Tortoiseshell, Green-veined White, Orange Tip & Red Admiral butterflies.

Extra: A 14 spot Ladybird landed on Hubby & hung around long enough for a photo ... in fact we had a job to get it to leave!
