Sandra's Last Hurrah

A fine calm day, but cloudy, and then showers in the afternoon.  A cloudy calm evening. 

Up early, and an early shift in the airport.  I've been working on the check-in desk all day, and all flights in and out on time.  Walkies with Sammy after work, and then off out with work colleagues tonight.

Sad farewells tonight, as Sandra (Moore) leaves us at Loganair, and starts a new job with the local council.  Sandra has worked at the airport for 22 years, but needing a new challenge.  She's been best friends with my sister Julie since school days, so I've known her for years now.  She'll certainly be a miss about the airport, but wish her all the best in her new roll.  Sandra seated at the front in green, with past and present staff.  Taken in the Sandwick Social Club, Sandwick.
