Good friends.

A beautiful morning.
Started with a walk to the pond on the way to pick up the paper.
The Canada geese have made their nest on the little island as usual. Mr enjoying himself swimming round while Mrs does the hard work sitting on the eggs. Today she had the moorhen for company. Couldn’t see any sign of it’s little one. Hope it is OK.

The pink cherry trees are still looking beautiful.
Especially the one on the village green.

Now back home. Had lunch and about to do some gardening. I have some very leggy runner beans on the windowsill. Not sure if they are too tall. Anyhow will plant some, and if they die off still have time to put some more in.

Lovely to have this good weather for a Bank Holiday weekend.
