Loki (Wednesday 27th March 2022)

Loki was having another day of rushing around at C.'s in Trowbridge but was still for just long enough for this shot to be successfully captured without flash. He did settle down in a basket and allow himself to be stroked later on.

R.I.P. Judy Henske (20 December 1936, Chippewa Falls WI - 27 April 2022, Los Angeles CA)
Judy Henske was known as Queen of the Beatniks in the early sixties and was said to be the inspiration for the Woody Allen character Annie Hall, who also came from Chippewa Falls. Judy Henske had an early hit with a version of High Flyin' Bird. Marrying and teaming up musically with Jerry Yester from the Modern Folk Quartet she made the 1969 folk-psychedelia album Farewell Aldebaran, now regarded as something of a classic. This track from that album was on a sampler compilation of Frank Zappa's Straight label called Zappéd that I owned from 1969, and so is the one I've chosen.
