Now THIS…

…is what a REAL emergency looks like.
In reality, I took quite a few, got them as far as the Computer/Disputer, and "something happened".

If I live 'till I die I hope I don't find out what, because it'll mean I've done whatever-it-was AGAIN, by accident.  

Whatever it was, some accidental combination of keys pressed resulted in a totally blank SD Card which, when replaced in Camera gave me a message it had not been initialised.

D UH?!?

Anyway - I started another NaCl crystal run, got a number of "handleable" salt crystals then got the idea to use a wide, shallow, receptacle = WRONG!!!
Evaporation :-
WAY too rapid 
WAY too many crystals formed 
WAY too fast and 
WAY too small, endangering coupling up with the big uns.
