Picnic by the sea

One of the advantages of an appointment at the hospital is that it is easy to combine it with a trip to the seaside. After the routine appointment, I called in at an art material shop to stock up with canvases, brushes and other items. The beach was virtually deserted and, after a picnic, I crossed the road to look at the fishermen's huts by the lake, some of which are in need of repair. On the way back I called in at one of the large nurseries on the plain and stocked up with bedding plants.
