Cinderella did'nt want to go to the ball anyway

It's not a pumpkin, it's a squash, a 'Crown prince' squash, grown by me last year. Spent the Winter in the greenhouse, now, due to neglect destined to become today's dinner - roasted squash soup, but first coming to me  in my hour of need as the subject for today's Abstract Thursday blip #transience set by Ingeborg
