10!

Eve is 10 years old! This is her receiving her dream gift from Zeke - a box of pranks.

She is an absolute treasure and I love her so.

My joy in Eve was tempered by news of the loss of a lovely friend and our neighbour’s son dying. Very sobering. But I was grateful to have time to mull over those feelings whilst Miss B was at school so that we could celebrate her properly tonight.

I also had the alarming moment of realising I was only twice Eve’s age when I got married. Yikes I was young!

Gratefuls:

1. Evie B - a whole 10 years of hanging out with her;
2. Loved ones loving her;
3. Doughnuts being requested as her cake - I had no energy to bake!
