11 years of Evie B

We woke early and finished last night’s film whilst we waited for the boys to wake up. Then it was presents and cinnamon buns before we headed off to Blackpool with Eve’s lovely friend. 3 hours in The Sandcastle on water slides and then a host of carby treats. Lots of fun and I’m so thankful for a strike day landing so perfectly to enable birthday fun.

My gratefuls are all Eve-related today:

1. Seeing her overcome fears when left to her own devices;
2. The look of joy when she opened each gift;
3. Seeing Eve grow into a real encourager - a glimpse of the adult emerging and she’s a lovely one.
