My nephew is off on an inter railing adventure on Thursday. He has been thinking about this trip for a number of months now. I am sure he will have the very best of times and hope he will discover many wonderful things.

His grandmother has been giving us both complete ear ache about a portrait of him before he goes. He absolutely hates having his picture taken and I think that this captures that perfectly. He has the broadest smile and sparkling blue eyse but he wouldn't allow that today. Instead he kept his head down or his eyes closed as he complained about the complete indignity of it all.

I wanted to record the day he came to say goodbye. It's odd to think that I have no idea when I will see him again. We will miss his warm smile and huge feet.
