(116) Porty, From A Distance

Portobello beach looked a bit quieter today, judging by the view from Fife. This was taken from the viewpoint on the A921 between Aberdour and Burntisland, with a telephoto lens. I've always been fascinated by the way the perspective flattening effect of binoculars, telescopes, and telephoto lenses brings otherwise distant objects into close proximity. The extra shots are other views of Edinburgh taken from the same location.
