Solace Day 11 - On Down The T&M

We completed the 4 Counties Ring by late morning. 10 days in all. We cruised past our marina and on down the Trent and Mersey canal just seeing where we could get to before we need to turn around and make our way back.

We came back into some lovely countryside today with beautiful canalside gardens and my inspirational "Blue Pot Corner". 

Work on the boat has to be done by all the 12 families who use her so The Man polished the brass mushroom ventilators on the roof and I went down the inside polishing brass doorknobs. 

We moored for the night in a place we know well but to our shock, a forest had been felled and several fields were taken up with HS2 work.
