Marsh Marigolds
I visited Compton Verney Art Gallery today. Being members we often visit and with the weather being so nice again I decided that it was a good opportunity not to be missed.
Although the car park seemed very full I didn't think that there were that many people about. I could see a Tai Chi class taking place next to the lake and also a little further on an art group with easels set up. Lovely place for both activities.
Quite a few different birds and butterflies flitting about among the trees and bushes and on the lake were swans, grebes, greylag geese, coots, moorhens, and mallards. The geese were very noisy at times and I sat and watched as the parents of young ones fiercely chased off any others who got anywhere near them.
All in all Avery nice afternoon and I expect that we will be going again at the weekend to see two of the exhibitions which are on, The Portrait Artist of the Year, and also Through the Lens of Master Ji.Maybe lunch afterwards?
The extra is the house from across the lake.
