Heron
Today we went over to Croome Court, not far from Pershore, for a walk around the grounds as we knew that they had a very good display of bluebells amongst the trees. They were beautiful and in places were mingled with cowslips and buttercups too.
However, I haven't put any photos on of the flowers but opted to blip this heron. I'm sure that we haven't got this close to one before as it didn't seem worried by our presence. It was fishing in a feeder stream at the top end of the lake.
After leaving Croome we made the short journey to Worcester to see Jayne's brother and sister-in-law. We were popping in for a cup of tea and intended to spend an hour with them that ended up as being over four hours. Didn't arrive home until 9pm! It was lovely to see them though and catch up on things, so much better than a phone call.
