Royal Spoonbill

Thank you for your generous comments on Blaze's cross yesterday.  It's always a sad visit but an important connection at the same time.  Kind of weird when I have to pull over on the road verge on a state highway!  Im sure people going past must think I'm a nutter.  I do always wear hi vis for safety.

I kind of like this.  I was sitting on the river side when this spoonbill that I hadnt been aware of took to the air.  It was so low that the long grass got in the way of the photo.
