These flowers are so graphic -- I'm always amazed by the precision of the markings. Note: it's not a dandelion, in fact I don't know what it is.

Spent too much time on Twitter seeing silly takes on the election, especially from right-wing types in the UK disappointed that Le Pen didn't win, or at least get closer. So I went out for a walk to look for blips.

 For lunch I made tagliatelle with my surplus sourdough starter. This works really well -- I bought some special pasta flour, which is worthwhile -- and I don't regret splashing out on a cheap pasta machine last year, even if it's a bit laborious. Served with a tomato and mushroom sauce, and there's plenty of pasta left.
