5 Kms to post a birthday card, along the way this little chap was singing happily on the stone wall. Earlier John spotted a warbler in the garden, this was taken through a window and just about shows what a pretty little bird it is.

The blossom is from the other new crab apple, it’s flourishing, and one of grey boy last night, not looking too impressed with F1 on television, I don’t think John was either. He has followed F1 since the Jim Clarke days, in the 60’s. He isn’t keen on all the chat and hype that goes with it, the need to add all the padding.

During April I have decided to complete a small Cats Protection challenge to walk 42 Kms during the month in the hope to raise a few pounds. Todays 5kms means there is 1.5 km left to walk. It didn’t sound a lot to do, it wasn’t, but things do get in the way.
