Apple blossom

We bought two crab apple trees last year, the colour of the blossom on this tree is very pretty, the other tree is a week or so further on and blooming nicely. On many a blip over the last nine years a favourite comment from me, when a blipper posts a flower type photo, ‘wouldn’t that make a pretty fabric’, I feel the same with this blossom. The flower and leaf are darker than the other apple trees in the garden.

I was out all day and we enjoyed a wander around the garden later this afternoon. Since falling on Friday when strimming, (the foot is reasonably fine, better than I thought possibly due to the ‘hot as you can bear’ and ‘cold as you can bear’ foot dunking exercise), I suspect we will go for no mow May again. There is a mass of wild flowers covering the area, I was only going to strim a small area of grass without flowers, not sure why I attempted it really.

When wandering around the garden four cats bounded around with us, what a joy to see them like this, extra shows little girl.
