Fly away home....

I hadn't seen any ladybirds for a couple of weeks, then today when I was looking at the front terrace there they were! I reckon there are 11 in this collage. Mainly 7 spots and various shades of orange to red.
It was a dull start this morning with a spot of rain too for a while. Mum was off for a hairdo across the road so we had her up and ready to go in plenty of time.
After she got back I popped down to Craigleith. Shopping is so much more pleasant on a Monday than during the weekend.
After I got home, Colin's cousin arrived to see her aunt and then Ali and Josie arrived too. Lots of fun catching up and admiring Josie's backwards crawling!
Ali had also brought Pickle back for a couple of weeks. They're putting their house on the market so life will be much easier without a cat helping them. Cleo was not impressed especially when Pickle sneaked in and ate Cleo's lunch! Oops, cat wars! She seems to have settled in very happily though, so that's good.
