Wind's a blowin'...

Love the big ol'trees in our garden, although the one that lost its canopy in the bad snow a couple of years ago, is looking positively sick.

Today was sooo windy. I walked into town and it was quite a battle against the wind.

Spent the day tweaking my recipes for the Fish Festival at the weekend, and now I'm really excited; bring it on.

In other news, the kids went back to school today, after the Easter hols.... and the house was so empty and quiet. Missed them terribly. Hubster was out making ice cream and I was left to rattle round on my own. That said, I spent a sneaky hour in the garden, reseeding the very scrappy lawn; it struggles in the shade of the trees.

So this is today's blip. Blue skies, fluffy clouds scudding, and our trees.
