If The Lord ever helps you, as He did me, to realise your sinful nature, ego and self led way of living, it can be humbling and serious. It is a time to repent and take eternal life as seriously as you are able to. This is what happened to Saint Maria Faustina, to whom Jesus appeared visually, initially while she was at a dance. He is recorded as saying, "How much longer will you keep me waiting?" Thankfully, Saint Maria then gave her life to Jesus and become a nun in a convent. I am quoting this from memory, so please forgive me, for not saying it exactly in Polish from St. Faustina's Diary, well worth reading if you are called to read of her love for The Lord.
