Oil

Apparently there is a shortage of rapeseed oil and sunflower oil in much of Europe and supermarkets are limiting purchases to a couple of bottles per customer. This is because a lot of it comes from Russia and Ukraine , and of course they are ingredients of so many food items.
A bit ironic as we’re surrounded by fields of oilseed rape around here.
I was listening to interviews with food producers recently, both saying how much their costs had increased . Along with the increased costs of fuel and electricity, it’s really quite frightening.
