Westie mallards

Waited for the scaffolders to arrive; half an hour after the expected time someone turned up expectong to meet them and plan what was needed. No scaffolders came, and the date is now next week.

Visited C and her sons, and enjoyed home cooking; cinnamon and raisin biscuits, and apple muffins. Greeted by the dog who expected me to play vigorous games with her; she was disappointed, until Young L gave her a little attention.

Back to Titirangi in time to squeeze in a short walk before it got too dark for photos. High ISO gave the appearance of good lighting for the mallards.

J came to share dinner with us. Topics of discussion ranged widely, and we all felt that if only the politicians would listen to us .....
