Croft Hooses at Tumblin

A sunny morning, mist hanging over the hills, a lovely sunny afternoon and evening.  It was warm in the sunshine, but a chilly easterly wind.

Up early again, and headed to the peat hill.  I've managed to flay my bank, ready for casting soon.  It was cold and misty up the hill.  Headed out walkies with Sammy in the afternoon.  I managed to get Sammy his first haircut of the year, as he was so scruffy.  Popped down to Laura's this evening, and also popped by Madeline's.  Early night tonight.

Looking for a walk this afternoon, and spotted this road.  I've driven up here before, never walked, and spied other routes I'll have to come back and try later in the year.  One area I know very little about, mostly old croft houses, and also a broch to investigate on top of the hill.  I do like these old houses sitting next to the road.  Looking south down the Tumblin road, Bixter.
