The Challenge

I repeated the walk I took along the river yesterday afternoon, but in the morning and with Janet. I can't avoid dropping one of the Buzzard shots in, which shows just how flippin' big the wings are relative to the body. Staying on the bird theme I'm also dropping in a male Kestrel. 

I know I'll have to harvest these extras later in the year but hey... go large.

The main however was a fight between crows, with one crow holding firmly to a tree branch which the other (two, but only one in this shot) clearly felt was theirs. Feathers had already been lost in the battle and as I walked past the defender still held on tightly to the branch. Must have been a really good branch...
