A new encounter
First day back at Pilates and a catch up with the ladies afterwards.
It was such a lovely afternoon we had a short drive to Newton on Rawcliffe. Although involving a steep descent and then a climb back up we enjoyed our circular walk. Plenty of Primroses and wildflowers to enjoy along the way.
As we approached some Gorse I spotted some movement and spotted this Green Hairstreak butterfly. I am told it is Britain’s only green butterfly. There were a few flitting about. Although common it is the first time I have spotted one.
