Cawthorn Camps

A short trip up the road for a walk round Cawthorn Camps. This as I have mentioned before are earthworks marking a Roman Fortess on the edge of the North York Moors. Always interesting to think of the Legionaires who lived in the camp.

The Gorse was certainly doing well. Very few people about now the schools have gone back.
