Everyday life

The news from Ukraine gets grimmer each day and it if feels strange/surreal and above all a privilege to be able to go my life as normal and in lovely surroundings. This was taken on my way to yoga this morning.  This afternoon sees our monthly u3a meeting with time to catch up with fellow members. Small everyday thing but denied to many. 

This evening we are heading to Perth for a Concert For Ukraine (horsecross.co.uk) which brings together Scotlands traditional singers, musicians and poets to raise money for Home | Disasters Emergency Committee (dec.org.uk).  It will bittersweet in many respects but is a good way to raise money and awareness.

The concert is also being streamed live for those that cant attend in person.
