Turning a new leaf

A beautiful morning. A clear blue sky, the birds in full song. But time to return home as J starts the next round of her treatment this afternoon.

We have had our caravan lodge for a year now, and it has been fantastic. We are very fortunate. Life would have been very different this last year if we had not had this place.to escape to. It is not far away from home in time or mileage terms, but in other respects we could be on a different planet.

The greens in early Spring are just sublime. Everywhere there is growth. In front of us are two small birches, fresh leaves emerging, and catkin flowers transforming into fruiting catkins. So an early morning shot, an obvious choice for todays blip.
