The Hidden

These lamps are pretty cool. They have this classic yet eerie look about them. Especially on grey days. I have always liked lamps. I used to want to live in a time when people would wear cloaks and carry lamps to light the way.

I have recently started reading a new book that I am enjoying very much (not The Chronicles of Narnia... it is called The Broken Empire) and this lamp reminds me of that book. I like when my real world and the world I am reading about have small connections. I don't know if that makes any sense.

I am thankful for this new book (and all good books that I have connected with). I am thankful for the "hidden" lamps on campus and how they connect me to my books. Sometimes this school looks like it belongs in one of my fantasy book series. And that is pretty awesome.
