Christmas tree hill and the Sidlaws

This hill is not for the faint-hearted and very few manage to run all the way up, but it was down and then up on the trail run Mr Rat and I led for the club this evening. We had some new people trying out the trails and I was leading from the back and did a slightly easier route with a few people.
It was a beautiful evening for a run, clear and cool.
In the morning I had got on with some of those boring jobs that have to be done (ironing, cleaning the bathroom etc) and went into the garden in the afternoon and got a few more jobs done. I did have time to sit in the sun with a cuppa and my knitting for a while, too.
