Love is in the air!

I’m not a great fan of pigeons particularly when they are walking all over the plants in my garden ….. but ….. I was quite mesmerised by this pair up at the Heritage park this morning.

The female was busy preening herself in readiness for the big moment which was over almost as soon as it started.

I had quite the wrong shoes on and my feet did get rather damp while I was standing on the damp grass and for a short time it was actually raining.

I heard a little girl asking her mum if she could stroke the geese … we both agreed that that was not a very good idea.
