Mrs. Cardinal

It was a dull wet morning, and quite cool, so we stayed in and watched the FA Cup semi final between Liverpool and Manchester City. Laura called while we were watching, so much of the first half we had it muted so we could talk with Laura. By the time that was finished, the weather was brightening, we we went hiking at Rowe Woods. I got several decent bird shots at one of the hides overlooking a feeding area. Mrs Cardinal, posing so nicely in the sunlight, won out for my main blip, but I have added an extra with a goldfinch, white throated sparrow and a house finch. We also spent quite a while watching turtles at one of the ponds, as well as looking out for newts in the water.
