Silver Howe

An early start so that we could get to Grasmere in time to park easily. 

From here, No 1 son and I walked up Silver Howe.  Santana busied himself in Grasmere - art exhibition, coffee, book shop and art gallery.

It was warm and hazy and I found it particularly hard at the beginning of the walk.  I persevered and we enjoyed getting to the top. 

Returned to Grasmere by way of Allan Bank and then met Santana at Baldrey's where we all indulged in their famous rarebits (double for them and single for me!).
