Trip to Worcester

Another sunny day, we decided to go to Worcester for a walk and coffee.  After parking up in Diglis we walked towards the marina.  Unfortunately we didn't make it.  As I walked along I suddenly tripped on an uneven paving stone and went flying to the ground at great force and causing some damage to myself. I sat there dripping blood feeling shaken.  Two lovely residents came over to help and we were joined by a guy from the local gym with a first aid kit.  I was helped into a chair and patched up.  I suffered no breakages but my right hand and thumb are very painful. Ann rang Emma and once I was able we walked back to the car and drove over to hers. There I rested and had a cup of tea and a sandwich before we drove home.
