Lilac

For a Bank Holiday the weather has been particularly good.  Sunny, warm, very pleasant.  Sometimes Easter is like this, only to deteriorate by the time of our May holidays!

So we went into town this morning and had a little walk whilst we waited for an empty table at the Barge and Quarterdeck.  Then we had a very acceptable cup of coffee and talked about our next house.

On return home, after lunch outside, I made a ribollita and Ann had a good chat with Colin on WhatsApp.  I then had a mooch around the garden and discovered the lilac tree had started to bud and flower, a sure sign of spring.  Thanks to BikerBear for hosting today's Flower Friday.  The extra is a blackbird having a bath in the garden. I noticed him this morning, he was really enjoying the water.
