Perfect day of pottering

The garden has been somewhat neglected of late so today has been mostly about pottering in the garden. I watched a youtube video about how to train a rose to a trellis and realised relatively quickly that this is a sure sign of middle age.

Had a wonderful run with Eva this afternoon who’s back from Hungary. Plenty of stories to tell about the elections (bad), covid (bad) and being a celebrity author at a writing event (very cool). It was so nice to be out running in the sunshine.
