Rehearsal

It felt a bit odd going to the theatre in the morning, however the already happily inebriated football fans on their way to the Hibs v Hearts match at Hampden made it feel it more like the afternoon.
Today was the first time in a long while that Scottish Ballet has opened rehearsals to the public. I was unable to get a ticket for a time that suited for The Scandal at Mayerling so this was a reasonable substitute. I was delighted to get a great view of my neighbour, the Company Pianist, who played very jaunty/jazzy warm up tunes. After a series of complicated instructions the diminutive coach suggested that if the dancers “didn’t know what to do next just jump up and down”, which sounds like good advice generally.
The blip is a bit of cheat for obvious reasons.
