Skipton Castle

I had quite forgotten just how fabulous Skipton Castle is. Mind you it must be 40 years since we last went inside. I think it’s the most intact English castle I’ve visited. All it needs is furnishing and the fires lit and I could happily move in (though the bathroom fittings leave something to be desired).
All in all a grand day out.
