Springtime

The sheep were enjoying their mid morning snack when we passed on our walk to find the first Cuckoo

We never saw the Cuckoo but it was singing away in a distant wood.

We did see the first House Martins, unusually before we have seen a single Swallow.

We had lovely views of a Wheatear but the predicted Ring Ouzels ( a friend had seen 5 here yesterday!) were elusive.
