Windermere from Fell Foot

We drove to Ambleside this morning as both Santana and No 1 son needed new walking shoes.  Achieved and then coffee at the Giggling Goose.  It was late morning by now and No 1 son needed feeding.  We drove to Grasmere hoping to go to his favourite there but we couldn't find anywhere to park - not surprising given it is Easter Saturday.  From here to a well-known shop and cafe in Windermere.  Lunch was delicious and it was pretty empty and lots of parking spaces - the fair weather having enticed people outdoors.

Home via Fell Foot where I took this photograph of Windermere.  No 1 son has now gone for a nap before dinner.
