Went to town early this morning to miss the crowds - it is a long weekend so no doubt that will be my only trip there for a few days!  Ferries have been busy. 
We had frost overnight. A neighbour stopped in briefly to give us some homemade hot cross buns and we agreed that it's still far too cold for mid-April. She and her husband were heading out for their walk, bundled up still. Very kind of her to bring the buns, looking forward to enjoying one. She's an excellent baker!
