Hungry hummer

I put the telephoto lens on the camera this morning and took some photos on my walk. A nice change of trail this morning, one I haven't walked for a few years, close to home. There were several very muddy patches but I was surprised how dry most of it was.
I was eating lunch and saw a hummer land on the feeder. I ran (almost) to get the camera, hoping it wouldn't fly away, and managed to get a very quick shot through a really dirty window, so not a great image, but at least I got one. Glad I had that lens on. This might motivate me to wash the windows! We used to have many more hummingbirds but I think more neighbours might have feeders now.
