Spring scene in the garden

We were up early for market and we had a very successful morning, I sold five Simnel cakes!
Then we had a little visit to the Eric Morecambe hide to see the avocets beginning to nest. Also a nice pair of Mediterranean gulls.
Back home and Rob gave the lawn its first cut, I planted a few lilies and we had a sloe gin sitting up on our bench admiring the view!
There are the first leaves of the spotted orchids emerging from the wildflower meadow and looks very promising.
