Non-singing bird

Perfect weather for painting my plant table and other garden tables.
Used the sun blind for the first time this year too.
Friend came round for a sandwich lunch, bringing her dog.  The idea was to to take the dog for a walk when it cooled down.  This didn't happen.  She left at 5pm and said she would take her out this evening.  We put the world to rights several times and her dog was happy pottering round finding new smells and stretching out for a nap.
Had a major watering session and will rearrange the pots tomorrow.
Fished out a tee shirt and some cropped trousers from their winter storage.
Sorted out some washing to be done early tomorrow.  My mother would not allow washing on Good Friday and it is a tradition my sister and I have always followed.
